A great photographer in Corpus Christi, Ashley McComb took these pictures of Brandon for us and I thought they turned out great! I strongly recommend her to anyone that needs pictures done.

Brandon's First Birthday Party Pictures

Here are some pictures from Brandon's first birthday party "Finding Nemo" style. We would have more pictures of everyone and Brandon from the weekend but my sister Natalie lost the memory card from my parents camera which had all the pictures on there from this weekend. The pictures being posted are from Natalie's iphone and Virginia's camera.

Happy 1st Birthday Brandon!

Brandon is ONE today! Wow, where did the year go? I can't believe I was having contractions a year ago today when I woke up at 8:30 am and started cleaning the house around the house with my Mom thinking nothing of it and on the way to the hospital with my Mom around 1pm. Calling Joni (our skippers wive in VFA-11) to call the boat to tell Aaron who was deployed on the USS Truman at the time.  Waiting in the waiting room in the hospital having contractions 2-3 minutes apart getting a call from Aaron who just did an mission over Iraq to find out I am in labor. With 45 minutes waiting to see a nurse in the waiting room to see that I was 9 1/2 centimeters dilated when they finally got me a room, after they found out that they got me all set up and about a hour and 15 minutes later Brandon was born at 4:01pm.  All natural because it was to late to have any drugs! I got a call 20 minutes after from Aaron to find out his son was born and was surprised thinking I was going to be in labor lot longer!

Brandon has brought so much joy to Aaron, I and our families! He is defiantly an gift from god and so happy he is in our lives. He is the best baby and looking forward to what the next year will bring to our blessed family!

We are celebrating at my parents house in Missouri City, TX with my parents, sisters, Virginia Miller and Aaron came up for a day to celebrate the day with us! Will be posting pictures later this week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Brandon and Nicole will be heading to Houston to see Nicole's family for a week and to celebrate Brandon's 1st Birthday (February 22nd), can't believe it! Aaron will be coming up for the weekend to celebrate it with us! We are doing good in Corpus Christi, TX. Nicole and Brandon stays busy with Stroller Strides everyday during the week and with playgroups. Aaron is doing good in flight school and is studying alot!! He starts flying this week and that is awesome because he loves to do it so much, I love when he comes home and tells us all about his flight, it's like a kid in a candy store! I feel blessed to have a husband who LOVES what he does and is following his dreams of becoming a pilot. His dreams are our dreams!

Brandon's First Steps

Never thought this day would come but it did last night. Brandon took his first steps with some help from his Brio Walker that his Great Aunt Nancy and Cynthia gave him for Christmas. It is so cute! Here is an video clip of the proud moment!!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2009! Finally have internet in our new house in Corpus Christi so I can now update our blog. Alot has happened since doing our last blog. We have moved from Virginia Beach, VA to Corpus Christi, TX in December. Enjoyed our Christmas and New Years holiday with my family in Houston, TX. Brandon has a memorable first Christmas he got tickle me Elmo, a stuffed horse, John Deere Tractor and some other great gifts. We are settled in our new house in Corpus. It is all new to me of being able to stay home with Brandon and get a lot done! So far I am liking it, I have joined Stroller Strides (full body workout for Nicole and fun for Brandon). It has been a good way for us to get out of the house first thing in the morning. Aaron starts class on Tuesday January 20th and he has been studying very hard!! I am very proud of him! That is all and if anyone wants to come visit we would love it!!
